Ash (she/they) is a registered social worker offering psychotherapy in St. Catharines or virtually. Ash is very devoted to the field of social work, and believes it’s an honour to sit with people through their hard times. Ash has professional clinical experience working with children and youth, as well as neurodivergent individuals and LGBTQ+ individuals. Ash completed their Master’s of Social Work at the University of Windsor, and completed their Bachelor’s of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Ash is passionate about how capitalism impacts access to services, and believes that everyone who desires therapy should receive it. Ash is also a believer that accessible therapy shouldn’t just include one model, as therapy is never a one-size-fits-all solution. Ash is passionate about IFS as well as EMDR, and finding ways to bring elements of play-therapy into practice. Ash has worked with people with trauma from all walks of life, and believes that the key factor is an authentic therapeutic relationship to allow people to feel safe. Ash also recognizes that many behaviours that can be seen negatively within society are just our parts trying to keep us feeling balanced and safe. Ash is a firm believer in internal resources and wisdom, and hopes to provide a safe and supportive space to help people gain further access to their internal wisdom and gifts.
