Our Mission

Nova Phoenix is actively addressing the mental health and addictions state of emergency in Ontario by offering thousands of free and low cost therapy sessions every year since 2017. When you support Nova Phoenix, you are helping to make mental health therapy accessible for everyone!

Our Approach to Therapy

At Nova Phoenix Counselling, therapy is tailored to the individual. Our therapists use evidence-based methods informed by current research and best clinical practices. Sessions are paced according to client comfort, with a focus on  building insight, emotional safety, and sustainable change.

We work collaboratively with clients to understand not only symptoms, but the broader context of their lives.

Therapy is offered both in person and through secure online platforms.

Client safety is central to this work. All individuals are carefully screened, fully informed, and supported throughout the therapeutic process. This service is offered only when clinically appropriate and aligned with ethical standards and best practices.
