Tannaz Hosseinpour is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with teenagers, adults, individuals, and couples to help them build healthier relationships, with themselves and with others. She supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, ADHD, autism, life transitions, trauma, and relationship difficulties, creating a compassionate space where they can feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow. She has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and couples, including relationships where one or both partners are neurodivergent, helping them better understand one another, improve communication, and build relationships that honour each person's unique needs.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and grounded in cultural humility. Drawing from evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and somatic approaches, Tannaz tailors therapy to each client's unique goals and experiences. She believes lasting change happens through both emotional healing and developing practical skills that clients can carry into their everyday lives.
As a bilingual therapist offering services in both English and Farsi, Tannaz is passionate about supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including BIPOC communities. Having lived in six countries and travelled to more than 45, she has developed a deep appreciation for cultural humility and understands the importance of honouring each person's cultural values, family dynamics, and lived experiences throughout the therapeutic process.
At the heart of Tannaz's work is the belief that we are inherently relational beings; we heal, grow, and thrive in safe, supportive relationships and communities. Whether strengthening the relationship with yourself, your partner, your family, your friends, or your community, her goal is to help clients cultivate greater emotional safety, resilience, and meaningful connection.

Many of our emotional struggles are connected to past experiences that were difficult, painful, or overwhelming and were never processed or healed. Trauma can shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate daily life, often showing up as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or ongoing stress. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained, you are not alone. These experiences are deeply human, and healing is possible with genuine care. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but reaching out is also an act of courage and self-care. Congratulations on taking this important step.
As a Registered Psychotherapist, I support individuals and couples who are working through the impact of trauma and past experiences on their daily live. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief and loss, breakups, divorce, and work–life balance stress. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative.
As an immigrant who speaks both English and Farsi, I also understand the complexities of navigating different cultures, identities, and expectations. I aim to create a safe and culturally sensitive space where clients can feel understood and supported as they work toward meaningful changes and a stronger sense of self.
