Jessica Lintlop is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto and brings a background in high pressure work environments, marketing, crisis line support, and volunteer work with vulnerable populations.
Jessica works with children, youth and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions. She understands with empathy and patience how these experiences relate to identity, self-worth, overcoming shame and guilt, and personal growth.
She takes a warm, strengths-based, and collaborative approach, with a strong focus on helping clients build self-awareness, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Jessica values meeting clients where they are and creates a space where people feel heard, respected, and supported.
Her approach is integrative and tailored to each individual. Rather than adhering to a single model, she draws from evidence-based perspectives, combining structure, measurable outcomes, and skill building with a deeper exploration of patterns, relationships, and past experiences.
Jessica integrates elements of: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Psycho-dynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-based strategies.
Outside of her work, Jessica loves being a mother, being outdoors, playing volleyball, and reading. She looks forward to supporting clients in their growth and healing journey.
