Tina is a Registered Social Worker (MSW) that applies her skills and knowledge from her education and training, as well as her lived experiences as a Korean- Canadian, international adoptee and someone who has learned from personal experiences of mental health, and trauma. Tina is a compassionate and empathetic social worker. She is dedicated to supporting, educating, advocating and empowering clients through their struggles. She specializes in supporting clients through their distress, self-esteem, anxiety and depression, but also through times of transitions, accomplishments and personal growth. Tina completed her Master's of Social Work degree from Windsor University, and has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing for trauma and stress treatment. Tina has over 13 years of experience supporting individuals, families and students in various therapeutic settings. Tina supports her clients’ unique needs through the following therapeutic modalities: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Anti-Oppressive/ Anti-Racism and more.
