Ruth is a Registered Social Worker who completed her Master of Social Work degree from The University of Toronto. Ruth brings over 35 years of experience to her clinical practice. Ruth is a warm, welcoming, anti-oppressive social worker. She specializes in supporting survivors of abuse and domestic violence, trauma, and systemic oppression. Ruth works with individuals of all ages as well as families and couples. Furthermore, Ruth has experience teaching social work as well as in clinical supervision and mentoring. Ruth takes an eclectic approach to therapy that includes the following modalities:
  • Trauma Informed therapy
  • Eye Movement-Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)
  • Family Mediation
  • Restorative Justice
