Renee is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She obtained a Bachelor of Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Brock University in 2020. She then went on to complete her Masters of Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. Renee has experience working with children and young adults who have experienced many forms of trauma and abuse through both her volunteer and professional career. She has focused her time working one on one with clients to help them work through interpersonal conflicts, trauma, abuse, stress, depression, and abandonment. She understands that therapy can be scary so she will work with you to build trust and a strong rapport through a compassionate and empathetic lens. Renee is seeking to work with clients 18+ who struggle with issues such as trauma, anxiety, stress, depression and low self-esteem. She is also happy to support clients who are struggling with grief and/or the families of a loved one struggling with their mental health to help provide guidance and a safe space.
