Pete is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). He holds an M.A. in Counselling and Spiritual Care from McMaster Divinity College (MDC).). Previously, Pete completed a B.A at Brock University, and went on to do a Masters in Theological Studies at MDC. He then worked as an associate pastor for the past decade. Pete cares about helping individuals who are working through emotional challenges, unwanted behavioral patterns, challenging circumstances, or are navigating a difficult relationship. Pete is Internal Family Systems-informed and uses a parts-work therapeutic approach because he believes it is through developing a more robust understanding of our internal experience–and recognizing the capacity we have within ourselves for growth–that profound transformation can occur. For those who consider themselves to be a person of faith (regardless of one’s spiritual tradition), Pete is also happy to welcome the spiritual part of you into the therapeutic process in a way that feels helpful, and true, to your wellness journey.
