Melanie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies & Gerontology, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Addictions Counselling from McMaster University, and has completed her Master of Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University. Melanie has over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with substance misuse, folks that are unhoused, survivors of human trafficking and neurodivergent individuals and their caregivers. She is passionate about supporting individuals navigate trauma, crisis, addiction, grief, anxiety, depression, and women’s health (specifically fertility, loss, pregnancy, birth, and post-partum/parenting stages). Melanie is a proud ally of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. She practices from a non-judgmental, person-centered and trauma-informed space, to support clients through their journey towards overall well-being and healing. Melanie is accepting both youth (7+) and adult clients.
