Melanie is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist with over 15 years of professional experience supporting individuals with sleep issues as a registered sleep technician. In addition, Melanie has supported both teens and adults on a crisis line and in a community setting, specializing in harm reduction. Melanie earned a Bachelor of Psychology from Brock University and a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University, with additional certification in ASIST suicide training, CPR, and non-violent intervention training. Melanie takes a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to collaborate with you on your healing journey, while practicing from both a somatic and cognitive lens to target both the body and mind in the healing process. She is passionate about supporting individuals on their healing journey, particularly those who struggle with grief, and maternal mental health challenges, specifically fertility challenges. Melanie draws from a blend of professional expertise and lived experience to create a genuine and safe space to nurture you on your healing journey.
