Kelsey is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who brings a diverse and compassionate approach to mental health care. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a Concentration in Criminology and a Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Brock University, as well as a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Kelsey works with both individuals and couples, supporting clients aged 12 and older. She has extensive experience working with those affected by domestic violence, substance misuse, and homelessness, which has shaped her trauma-informed and holistic approach to therapy. She is passionate about helping people navigate challenges such as trauma, addiction, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, intimate partner and domestic violence, sexual assault or abuse, schizoaffective disorders, and human trafficking. Kelsey is committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and strengths. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, narrative therapy, and crisis intervention. With a client-centered and strengths-based perspective, Kelsey works to support healing and growth by addressing both immediate concerns and the underlying factors affecting well-being. She is dedicated to helping individuals and couples reclaim their stories, strengthen resilience, and build more meaningful and fulfilling lives and relationships.
