Karlie is a Registered Social Worker who completed her Bachelor of Psychology and Masters of Social Work degrees at the University of Windsor. Karlie also obtained an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health from Durham College. Her approach to therapy is built on trust, safety, collaboration, client strengths, and encouragement of one’s own power to heal and create change. Karlie’s has spent the last seven years working with youth and young adults with diverse backgrounds in various social work settings. Karlie’s clinical practice focuses on creating a warm, inquisitive, non-judgmental environment where individuals can feel supported in understanding/managing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, depression, substance use, stress management, suicide/self harm concerns, and interpersonal conflict. Karlie brings lived experience as a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and her own personal mental health journey. Karlie is looking forward to supporting clients 18+.
