Jessica is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She completed her Bachelor Honours degree in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University before achieving her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. Jessica understands what it is like to be fragile post trauma. Self criticism, shame, anger, anxiety, and depression are a few of many common experiences individuals face while in pain. Jessica is committed to helping you build trust, self leadership and new found guidance amidst your struggle. She is compassionate, respectful, and puts the client first to ensure you feel safe to explore your emotions and experiences. Jessica has worked in hospital and community mental health settings with children, youth, parents, and families. She is happy to support individuals aged 10 and up in their mental health journey and healing. She is skilled at supporting youth and adults looking for support with stress, self esteem, workplace stress, relationships, parenting, anxiety, depression, and emotion management. Jessica has training and experience in the following therapeutic modalities: Eye Movement-Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Crisis and Suicide Intervention.
