Domenique is a Registered Psychotherapist who completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Domenique is a down to earth, and person-centered therapist that uses an attachment lens in her work. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy, and welcomes clients to come as they are. She creates a space where it is safe to express freely, and openly. She specializes in supporting clients through breakups, relationship stressors as well as communication and emotional regulation challenges. She also supports clients experiencing anxiety, major life changes and self-esteem issues. Domenique uses an integrative approach in her practice drawing on modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy. She likes to integrate psychoeducation, self-compassion and mindfulness in her work. She is collaborative and will tailor her approach based on her client’s goals, feedback, lifestyle, and learning style.
