Dave is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). His educational background includes a Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Dave has also completed additional training in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dave works with adults and young people experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and the challenges of major life transitions. He supports clients navigating school, work, and relationships, as well as those processing past trauma that continues to impact their daily lives. Dave’s approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and values-based. He aims to create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore. By integrating EMDR and ACT, Dave helps clients explore unhelpful beliefs, develop effective coping strategies, and create lives guided by what matters most to them.
