Abbie (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from Wilfred Laurier University and a Masters in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Manchester (U.K.). She is passionate about working with individuals with ADHD and newly diagnosed chronic illnesses, but works with a range of individuals including those dealing with stress, burnout, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. She has over 10 years' experience working in a range of different services, including working with survivors of gender-based harm and emerging adults with disabilities. She has extensive experience providing advocacy and is willing to do this in her practice. She uses a relational, compassionate, and acceptance-based approach, integrating an anti-oppressive lens into her work, and is proudly allied with the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
