Cathy is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and over 18 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through complex personal and relational challenges.
She works with individuals navigating trauma, grief, relationship and family stress, separation and divorce, as well as domestic violence and coercive control. Cathy also brings extensive experience supporting women’s issues, fertility and infertility, and reproductive health.
Cathy brings a calm, grounded presence and a thoughtful, direct approach to therapy. Drawing from extensive experience in crisis work, she understands how stress, pressure, and past experiences can shape communication, coping, and relationship dynamics over time.
Her work is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. She helps clients better understand patterns and behaviours while supporting meaningful and lasting change at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.
As part of the LGBTQ+ community, Cathy offers an inclusive and affirming space where clients can show up as they are.
