Who We Are

Counselling Background

My name is Elora Gartley and I am a Registered Social Worker.  My educational background includes a Bachelor Honours Degree in Psychology from Brock University as well as a Masters of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University. I am certified in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, completing both Level I and Level II certificates in 2017. Additionally, I am a Certified Trauma Integration Clinician, specializing in supporting survivors of abuse.

The approach I use is eclectic, meaning I pull from a variety of evidence-based treatments for your individualized counselling sessions. I primarily support individuals, couples, and children struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and/or relationship challenges. My empathetic and compassionate approach is bolstered by my lived experience. I recognize the pain you are experiencing because I have been there too and believe recovery is possible.
