Krysten is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Brock University in 2014 and then completed her Master's in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Krysten has had lived experience with loved ones navigating the mental health system and is eager to use her experiences to help others. Krysten feels passionate about supporting humans of all ages with their mental health and brings warmth and compassion to all of her interactions. Krysten understands firsthand the systemic oppression and barriers so many individuals face when seeking support. As a mother, she empathizes with the experiences of parents, children, and families and the importance of ensuring safety, security as well as playfulness and humour in one's healing journey. Krysten firmly believes in continuing education and is continually upgrading her knowledge to be the best she can be for her clients. She is interested in an integrated approach to treatment, tailoring her work to fit each individual. She values each client's unique experience and fostering a space for you to feel safe while discovering your identity.
